5) Prevention:
The prevention of tooth decay and gum disease is one of the most basic responsibilities of any dental practice. Our hygienist is also a DDS who takes great care in treating the whole patient, exploring their health history, recommending oral hygiene solutions, educating the patient in good oral health practices.
Besides the usual decay and gum disease prevention, Dr. Castaneda evaluates and monitors other critical factors that if left unchecked, could lead to serious problems. These include tooth wear, jaw and muscle alignment issues, overstressed teeth or implants, facial support and continuous crowding or movement of teeth.
6) Pain free dental visits, and anxiety management:
Modern
dentistry bears little resemblance to the dentistry of ten or twenty
years ago. Today’s techniques, instruments and
materials literally eliminate the pain and discomfort of dentistry of
the past. If you haven’t been to a dentist in a long time,
you are in for a surprise, our patients have been known to fall asleep
in our comfortable massage chairs.
